I have been helping out a very design and web savvy friend lately with a new enterprise she is undertaking using the WordPress sandbox. I find this interesting because this friend was actually far ahead of the curve when it comes to blogging as she used to run an excellent blog site that was in fact built from scratch some eight or nine years ago. Her original site used some custom php and MySQL underneath a handsome and clever design to essentially post articles, link them to one another and even used categories for navigating through the content.

আজ অমি ভাই একটা নতুন ঘরানার উবুন্টু লিনাক্সের সন্ধান দিলেন। নাম যুবুন্টু বা ক্সুবুন্টু। এর আঁতুড় সংস্করণ নামানো যাবে এখান থেকে। মাসখানেকের মধ্যেই আসছে এর পূর্ণক্ষম সংস্করণ। মবিডাটা য়েজ মডেম কাজ কোরতে চাইছিলো না আমার শ্রাবণী লিনাক্স এবং উবুন্টু ৬-এ। অমি ভাই বোললেন, এতে নাকি সমস্যাটা মিটে যাবে। অবশ্য ওদের বিশ্ববুনটে ওরা যে থিতু সংস্করণটির সংযুক্তি দিয়ে রেখেছে, সে বিষয়ে জানি নি এখনও।

বাঙলাদেশের ছেলেপুলেরা মিলে উবুন্টুর একটি বাংলা সংস্করণ দাঁড় করিয়েছিলো। এখান থেকে নামিয়ে নিয়ে সিডি-তে রাইট কোরে ইনস্টল কোরতে পারেন। উবুন্টু সম্পর্কে নিচের লেখাটি অমি আজাদের ব্যক্তিগত বিশ্ববুনট থেকে নেওয়া হোয়েছে।
বাংলাদেশের একমাত্র GNU/লিনাক্স উন্নয়নকারী সংগঠন “অঙ্কুর” নতুন একটি বাংলা লিনাক্স অপারেটিং সিস্টেম রিলিজ করেছে। উবুন্টু ড্যাপার-এর উপর ভিত্তি করে এই লিনাক্সে তৈরী করেছে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন “অঙ্কুর”। এর আগেও অঙ্কুর বাংলা লিনাক্সের তিনটি সংস্করণ রিলিজ করেছিলো, কিন্তু সেগুলো হার্ড ডিস্কে ইনস্টল করার কোনো সুবিধা ছিলোনা। ব্যবহারকারী আগের সংস্করণগুলি সিডি থেকে সরাসরি চালিয়ে শুধু লিনাক্স সম্পর্কে ধারণা নিতে পারতো। তবে শ্রাবণী লিনাক্সে থাকছে হার্ডডিস্কে ইনস্টল করার সুবিধা।

Posted 1 month ago #Hi all , I was looking for “Theme Editor” for my WordPress MU 2.8.1 and since it was disabled and by searching online looked like there are not that many good suggestions I looked at the code and if anyone wants to have The built-in Theme Editor they will need to edit one (1) file only and does not need to upload anything.
